Aruwe (அருவி) - My first Album Creation

It was a dream come true. At the age of 20 when I penned the lyrics and composed the song "Kaalai NeyraThendralai" during my college - Thermal engineering class, it was a dream to compose and release an album along with my college junior Mahesh, thanks to our HOD who was taking the class at that time in providing this rare oppurtunity :-).
As Mahesh (keyboardist) went for his higher studies, the dream came to a stop (not fully). In the year 2005, when I met a likely minded close friend of mine - Benjamin in HCL, I had put forth this idea and that is where we thought of giving life to our dreams. We had the similiar likely minded people (Aarthi, Nivethitha and Sasidharan) who agreed to contribute and our efforts of creating an album came true with a social cause. Yes, we did the album for Aruwe (www.aruwe.org) with a social cause in mind as all the profit of selling this Album going towards aruwe. The album was released in 2006 at Kamarajar memorial hall, by Music director Vijay Antony and the first copy received by actor Vishal. What a better way for my dream to come true as everyone were praising our efforts that never sounded amatuer in our first creation.
